Zinc
Zinc is a mineral that is present in the body in small amounts, performing various functions. It is a mineral found in keratin, crucial for the proper activity of the germ cells in the hair matrix. Zinc deficiency leads to weakened hair and slows the rate of growth. It is also one of the most useful micronutrients to support immune defences, stimulating the proper functioning of the thymus. It acts mainly against influenza viruses and bacterial infections.
Biotin
Vitamin, biotin deficiency can lead to hair loss and fragile nails. Adding biotin to a diet reduces one of the causes of hair loss and strengthens nails.
Avocado
